Theoretical loss and an entered comp percentage

Theoretical loss = total turnover × house edge. A $10000 turnover at 2% gives $200 theoretical loss. If a stated comp calculation returns 20% of that figure, the modeled comp value is $40.

Total turnover counts every wager rather than a starting bankroll. An operator may calculate rated play using a different bet amount, duration or rate. Enter those assumptions deliberately; this calculator does not infer a player rating or promise a reward.

Comp value is separate from actual loss

The modeled reward does not change the game probability. A noncash benefit may have a different useful value from its nominal amount. Actual results can differ sharply from theoretical loss. Use expected value for the loss model and rakeback for a rebate specifically based on eligible rake.
