Your calculator inputs stay in your browser
Stakes, odds, selected bets, cards and every other calculator input are processed by JavaScript on your own device. They are not sent to our server, not stored in browser storage and are lost when you reload the page. Copy result writes text to your clipboard only when you press it.
Data processed when you visit
Server logs
The web server receives your IP address, request time, page or file, response status, referring page and browser user-agent. Logs support delivery, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Contact form security
Using the form sets the HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict gc-contact cookie, scoped to /contact/. It connects your submission to a one-hour anti-forgery token. Private rate-limit records contain keyed hashes of your IP address, timestamps and attempt counts; message bodies are not written into those records.
Messages you send
The contact form sends your name, e-mail address and message through our server’s mail service to contact@gamblingcalculator.co. Direct e-mail also includes any attachments you choose to send. We use correspondence to answer questions, handle privacy requests and review corrections.
Why the data is used
- Server logs and form-security records help operate the website and prevent abuse.
- Contact details and messages are used to handle the enquiry you submit.
The site does not use visitor profiling, advertising trackers or automated gambling decisions.
Service providers
- Hostinger provides the virtual private server that hosts the website and its server logs.
- Namecheap is the domain registrar and handles e-mail forwarding for the domain, so e-mail you send passes through its forwarding service.
- Let’s Encrypt issues the site’s security certificate; it receives no visitor data.
- The site server’s local mail service queues contact-form messages for delivery to the published e-mail address. A queue confirmation does not guarantee final delivery.
The site loads no third-party scripts, fonts, analytics, advertising, social widgets or embedded media. External links lead to sites with their own privacy policies.
How long data is kept
- Web server logs are rotated daily with a ten-day maximum-age policy.
- The contact-security cookie lasts for your browser session; its anti-forgery token is valid for one hour.
- Private form rate-limit records are removed within two days of their last use.
- Correspondence is retained by the operator’s e-mail service for handling the enquiry and any follow-up; no independently verified fixed retention period is available.
How data is protected
All pages are served over HTTPS only, with security headers that block framing and third-party scripts. Server access is restricted to the operator.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to contact@gamblingcalculator.co with the subject line “Privacy request”. We may ask for information needed to find the relevant records, such as the date and time of a visit.
Children
The site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy changes when the site’s data handling changes. No optional tracking service is enabled. If such a service is introduced, its provider, purpose and consent controls must be described before it loads.
