Commission reduces a winning Banker payout

At 5% commission, a winning $100 Banker wager earns $95 net profit. The return including the original stake is $195. Commission handling and rounding should be checked against the table rules.

Player wins and tied hands

A standard Player win pays 1:1. In the standard commission model used here, a tie returns Banker and Player stakes without profit. A separate Tie wager is settled by its own payout ratio.

Tie and commission-free variants

Choose 8:1 or 9:1 only when that matches the stated Tie paytable. Commission-free baccarat can change particular winning outcomes; it is not automatically equivalent to setting commission to zero. This tool models payouts, not a dealing simulation.

Baccarat payout chart and Banker commission

For a winning Banker wager with commission c, net profit is stake × (1−c); total return adds the stake. At 5% commission, a $20 Banker win earns $19 and returns $39. A standard Player win earns $20 and returns $40.

An 8:1 Tie wager earns $160 profit on $20 and returns $180. A 9:1 Tie earns $180 and returns $200. In the standard model, a tied hand pushes Banker and Player bets. Check payout exceptions in commission-free variants.

Baccarat payouts versus win probabilities

Payout odds do not determine the frequency of Banker, Player or Tie outcomes. Use the separate baccarat probability and simulation calculator to explore standard drawing rules and commission-adjusted expected value. A sequence of previous wins does not by itself establish the next winner.
