Cash-out value and final-leg probability

If the full ticket can return $200 and you estimate a 50% chance of completion, its expected gross value is $100. A $90 offer is $10 below that estimate. On an original $10 stake the offer locks a hypothetical $80 net; the model’s expected net without that offer is $90.

For independent remaining legs, multiply your probability estimates. Correlated legs require a joint probability. A quoted cash-out amount is an input; the tool does not reconstruct an operator’s offer or decide whether accepting it is suitable.

Cash-out and a parlay hedge answer different questions

A cash-out offer exchanges a ticket for a stated amount. A parlay hedge adds an opposing wager and needs its odds and settlement rules. Neither operation improves the underlying probability estimate. Compare gross with gross and subtract the original stake only once.
